House Bill ready to go for next Legislative Session

Trapping Bill to be submitted

Today's Date -- After months of work, we are in the final stages completeing a major trapping bill for the '08 - '10 legislative sesssion that will utilize and incorpate Best Management Practices and methods into our Massachusetts trapping laws.   It will allow the use of extensively tested and accepted capture devices to be regulated by the state.  This change in the law will allow trained individuals   to participate once again in true furbearer management and put the management of our furbearers back in hands of our dedicated professionals employed with the Disviion of Fisheries and Wildlife.
