In Massachusetts, all policy concerning wildlife and the management of it, are referred the the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture. Any bill relating to our natural resources must first make it successfully through this committee. It is critical to gain bill sponsorship and support of District representatives and Senators on this committee. "It shall be the duty of the committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture to consider all matters concerning the Division of Conservation, natural resources and the environment, air, water and noise pollution and control thereof, hunting and fishing, conservation, solid waste disposal, sewerage, agriculture and farm problems, and other such matters as may be referred"
